Industry Expertise to NEOTMA
Treasury
Management Association Updated on Electronic Payment Channels
DALLAS, Texas – September 13, 2004 – BillMatrix
Corporation, a provider of outsourced telephone and Internet-based
payment services, today made a presentation on ”Expanding
Electronic Payment Channels” at the Northeast Ohio Treasury
Management Association’s annual Idea Exchange. Jerry
Portocalis, senior vice president of sales and marketing for
BillMatrix, reviewed the key drivers for moving from manual,
paper-based bill payments to on-demand, automated electronic
payments. He covered governance and on-going support requirements,
system usage data as well as key security and reliability
features.
Customer-focused and bottom-line oriented recurring billers
offer their consumers the ability to pay their bills on the
phone or on-line 24 hours a day, seven days a week using a
credit card, ATM/debit card or ACH/electronic check on-demand,
without having to register ahead of time. BillMatrix provides
this outsourced service on behalf of over 100 recurring billers
in the utilities, telecommunications, insurance, and consumer
finance industries, providing the strong foundation of expertise
NEOTMA was looking for to educate its members.

to share ideas and knowledge on topics such as treasury management,
