BillMatrix Unit of Fiserv
Repeats Strong Role at NACHA’s Annual Event
Major Insurance Company Presenting Receivables
Integration Case Study
DALLAS, Texas – May 4, 2006 – BillMatrix Corporation,
a provider of outsourced telephone- and Internet-based payment
services and a business unit of Fiserv, Inc. (Nasdaq: FISV),
announced today a full slate of activities at PAYMENTS 2006,
NACHA's annual conference on electronic payments and e-business.
This year the premier payments industry conference is being
held in San Diego, Calif. from May 7-10 at the San Diego Convention
Center.
Jerry Portocalis, BillMatrix’ executive vice president
of sales and marketing, will be jointly presenting a national
insurance client’s successful experience with electronic
payments on Tuesday, May 9 at 11:15 AM. This top-50 insurance
company is focused on delivering world-class performance to
their customers in the property and casualty arena and committed
to meet the needs of their independent agents. Their insureds
and agents saw the benefit of electronic options in other
industries and needed that same convenience and control for
insurance premium payments. The session will describe how
existing technology to support bill printing and delivery
was leveraged to simplify the integration of electronic payments
for both constituencies.
Portocalis has taken a very active role with NACHA and its
sister organizations over a number of years. He is currently
in his second term as Marketing/Public Relations chair on
the steering committee for NACHA’s Council for Electronic
Billing and Payments and was a featured speaker on PIN-less
debit at NACHA’s e-Check Conference in 2005.
Portocalis and other BillMatrix executives are participating
in other presentations at the event, moderating several sessions
on a wide range of subjects related to billing and bill payment.
BillMatrix will showcase their comprehensive electronic payment
services at the NACHA Payments Conference booth #420, demonstrating
the ease of making a payment for the customers of utility,
insurance, telecommunications, mortgage and other financial
services companies.
