Payment Industry Leader Promotes Jerry
Portocalis to Executive VP
DALLAS, Texas – April 27, 2006 – BillMatrix Corporation,
a provider of outsourced telephone- and Internet-based payment
services and a subsidiary of Fiserv, Inc. (Nasdaq: FISV),
today announced the promotion of Jerry Portocalis to Executive
Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Portocalis, a seven-year
veteran of the company, has been responsible for all client-facing
activity including revenue generation and client relationship
management during his tenure.

for client-facing operations as well as leading initiatives
to forge strategic relationships with the nation’s largest
billers. With this promotion, he will apply senior-level focus

has a long history of developing strong relationships with

Portocalis is a well-known industry expert, having presented
educational sessions at many prestigious events and for organizations
across the country. In March 2006, he conducted a workshop
on all aspects of billing and payment for Electrical Utilities
Consultants, Inc. and briefed the California Public Utilities
Commission on how to implement recent California Assembly
legislation on using credit and debit cards for utility payments.
His next presentation will be on insurance billing and payments
at NACHA Payments 2006 conference, to be held in San Diego
on May 7-10. Portocalis also is in his second year serving
as the Marketing and Public Relations chair of NACHA’s
Council for Electronic Billing and Payments.
